Chris Frace

Chris Frace Managing Partner / Founder

Chris is a Founder of Gen Three Partners, an independent life insurance brokerage firm that specializes in insurance solutions for high net worth individuals and ultra affluent families. His firm is exclusively focused in the area of wealth preservation and charitable giving, through the utilization of $5M to $100M+ life insurance portfolios, to hedge against estate tax liabilities, and to provide families with tax-advantaged cash reserves. As a “connector”, Chris has been involved in a number of different private equity transactions, and is actively involved in several other ventures as an advisor, a source of capital, and a deep bench of influential relationships. He brings a wide variety of strategic resources to any conversation, and strongly believes that meaningful relationships and selflessness are the key to success. Chris is a Founding Board Member, Treasurer, and Alumni Coordinator of the Newport Beach Foundation, and also served on the board of USC Marshall Partners. He earned his B.A. in Business Administration from University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business, and a minor from the Davis School of Gerontology.

Joel Houser Partner

Joel brings over 20 years of expertise to Gen Three Partners, specializing in advising high to ultra-high net worth families. His focus lies in family-owned businesses, navigating the intricate landscape of business succession and transfers. Joel has successfully guided numerous families through generational transitions and internal business shifts, preserving family legacies through strategic estate and charitable planning. He is a staunch advocate of leveraging life insurance planning for its tax advantages to sustain family legacies effectively. Prior to his career in wealth advisory, Joel served with distinction in the United States Marine Corps for six years, an experience that deeply rooted his belief in the American family economic system. Outside of work, Joel resides in Kansas City with his wife and daughters, actively contributing to his community as a board member of the Belton Education Foundation.
